The best part of attending this boot camp was I was able to understand the code behind and how to debug effectively by understanding the code. I can also say I was able to learn, understanding the Data Structures and how they work is the best way to tackle any algorithm problem.

Kal is a dedicated teacher who cares greatly about her students. She spends time making sure that we understand the concepts before moving on. Several times during the bootcamp, Kal stayed after class to make sure everyone felt comfortable with the state of their projects and were on track in class. She teaches at a good pace and is always very accommodating. One recommendation I have is to have more lecture time so we can go deeper into the many concepts we learn during the 16 week bootcamp. I highly recommend Kal Academy to those looking to brush up on their coding skills or are trying to enter the industry. I had a great experience!

I attended Kal Academy for software development- Deep stack program. Kal is an intelligent teacher with a great personality. The program was very affordable and accommodating compare to any other bootcamp I was looking. Classes were on the weekends, which was very convenient for me. Attending Kal Academy was the best decision I’ve made. I have gained an in-depth understanding of software development life cycle and developed applications using up to date technologies. Her data structure class gave me the preparation that I need for whiteboard interviews. Throughout my time at the bootcamp and working with a team, I have benefited and learn how to work with a team to achieve common goals.

I attended Kal Academy’s Software Development- Deep stack program. Kal is an amazing and most dedicated instructor I’ve ever seen. Very supportive and women-friendly environment, great teamwork experience. The program itself is very affordable, you will have the opportunity to build a solid Github portfolio full of different level projects, as well as get the mock interviews in the largest IT companies. The Kal Academy not only taught me how to code, but I also made connections with some of the most passionate and talented people in the industry.

I did the full stack web development course in Kal Academy. I had previous industry experience but not in the MEAN and MERN stack which were a part of this curriculum. What I liked about the course is that Kal helps you setup a real industry like environment, complete with a team, collaboration platform and projects where you build something using the concepts learnt in class. She creates a corporate type team environment in the class which gets you back in the habit of working as a team. You also have to spend a considerable amount of time outside of the class, if you really want to benefit from the course.
Also, Data structure and algorithms was the part of the course which really helped us to face the real interviews
Kal is a great teacher and she is very approachable and responsive to student queries. The best part of doing a course from Kal Academy is the level of outside support she offers in terms of helping to find a job (via internship opportunities, mock interviews etc). She sends out information about upcoming opportunities, networking and hiring events regularly and stays in touch with her cohort even well after they have finished the course.
I highly recommend Kal academy to everyone who is looking for career change, job change and return to industry after a break.
